
Sarah Fields, Ph.D. teaches Spanish to all ages and levels. She has over ten years’ experience teaching Spanish to children and adults. She has studied and taught language in Texas, Chicago, New York, and Barcelona, Spain.
Sarah enjoys learning languages. She speaks Spanish, Catalán and English fluently. She has also studied Italian, French, Portuguese, medieval Galician, German, and holds an earned doctorate from Columbia University in Spanish literature. She has taught Spanish at the university level since 1999.
She offers a variety of private language tutorials and small group classes to preschoolers, homeschoolers, high schoolers, university students, and older adult learners. She especially enjoys teaching students who have a specific reason for studying Spanish: for work, for travel, for friendship, or for literary interest, for example.
In addition to teaching Spanish, Sarah Fields enjoys spending time with her family, conversing with her husband, mothering their three children, dancing, singing, and spending time with her Lutheran church family.
